Hiring Process: 3 Easy Steps

1. SIGN UP

First thing to do is to Sign Up. This will help us determine the type of VA service your business needs by providing you a link to a simplified checklist form for your VA requirements along with important information and hiring guidelines to ensure you obtain only the best candidate for your team.

2. HIRING

Once we have received and confirmed your VA profile requirements, we will then proceed with the recruitment process in gathering qualified candidates. Recruitment process includes initial interview, English language proficiency, personality profile testing, background verification, and equipment qualification which would take 5-7 days to accomplish. You will then receive an email notification from us requesting for your schedule availability to conduct a quick meeting for a final interview with the candidates.

3. TESTING

We don't take the hiring process very lightly. If we have found certain areas that may require improvement, candidates will proceed to a 1-week basic training or refresher (if needed) that covers the primary tasks and materials related to your requirements. It consist of series of tests that your chosen VA must pass to qualify and start working.

In most cases, our qualified VAs can start immediately as per clients' preference.

How will I communicate with my VA daily?

Skype and Google Hangouts are the common main tools that we and our clients use to communicate real-time. Although, some clients preferred to use their own specific dialer (softphone system) assigned to their VAs for communication as well.

Do you offer a Part-time VA service?

How well do they communicate?

What if I’m not satisfied with my VA?

Although such cases rarely happen, but this process takes up to five (5) days maximum to ensure we provide the highest quality candidates for the next VA.

Cancellation and Refund

We operate on a strict no-refund policy, except if you decide to postpone the hiring process after registration and no work has commenced on our end, a full refund minus the payment transaction fee will be granted and processed.

How can I be sure that my VA is performing as expected?

To ensure our VA service maintains its value, we provide a weekly improvement and development plan that gives a comprehensive rundown and unique overview of your VA’s performance for the entire week. It also serves as an accurate communication structure to determine certain challenges and to help manage your VA effectively.

In addition, VAs are required to send their 'Start of Day Report' (SOD) and 'End of Day Report' (EOD) which outlines all the entire tasks completed for the day. This will also help you manage the projects and priorities for your VA.

How WE RECRUIT

Here at WorkLink VAs, we take the recruitment process very seriously. It is vital for us to follow
all necessary procedures and guidelines to ensure that we provide only the right people with excellent qualification.
We measure this process by scrutinizing valuable factors that competitive candidates should possess beforehand.
Here are some of the important components we require.

As part of our general qualification, we require all aspiring virtual assistants to have at least six (6) months experience working as a Home-based VA or at least 1-year experience in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) setting. This will simplify the procedure of determining the level of their exposure and knowledge to work as a reliable virtual associate.

Communication is important, so as evaluating their proficiency in the English language. It is the most essential key factor to succeed in the business. We measure the degree of their soft skills twice during the entire hiring process.

We require all candidates to complete and submit Personality and Character Assessment test result as part of our initial evaluation. This will help us understand what people are naturally drawn to excel in both moderate and complex tasks and how well they can adapt to any given responsibilities.

All technical and network specifications should match according to the standard requirements. This includes computer specifications, wired internet connectivity, USB-enabled headset, webcam, licensed softwares, backup/secondary equipment, and other relevant materials needed to successfully fulfill the role.
